I am posting to agree with what has already been put forward about the consequences of locating a webcam at the harbour trap.  Serious issues have been raised, all of which will require very careful consideration.  A website whose mission is 'to support the natural community based in and around Aberystwyth Harbour' does not want to be the cause of increased accidents and injuries, violence and increased crime, you will be in effect 'shooting yourselves in the foot'.  A website/project which will improve facilities and education about the harbour environment and its associated hazards, improve and raise awareness of the environmental conditions of the area and cater for all users - including visitors - would be much more beneficial, a webcam overlooking the harbour trap certainly does not fall into this category. 

Please ensure that all users are invited to comment to make sure that everyone has the chance to be heard in a more formal way - not everyone will get to know about this website.
